Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya College of Science, Arts and Commerce was established in the year 1945 under the name of Veerashaiva Education Society and is located in the heart of the city, Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka.

It is spread over a sprawling campus of 2.5 acres. The College is dedicated to promoting education, in all branches of learning and inculcating an intellectual culture, which promotes among the students a holistic personality. It caters to the educational needs of students, cutting across caste, creed, gender, community, and religion, with the sole objective of empowering the youth by imparting knowledge and improving their personality to face the challenges of life and serve the society.

The college is affiliated to Bangalore University and is recognized under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC in the year 1994. The college was accredited by NAAC with B+ grade in the year 2003 and it was re-accredited with grade B in the year 2010.

The college offers undergraduate and graduate level courses in science, commerce, and arts faculties. We offer specializations in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, History, Economics, Management, and Commerce.
